Celebration Church continues to grow and the Midtown and Orange Park campuses are adding services.
God has blessed us with the opportunity to minister to so many people that we are expanding our Service Options beginning the weekend of February 8th.
NEW SERVICE TIME ADDITIONS
Midtown
Sunday: 1:15 PM
Orange Park
Sunday: 6:00 PM
In addition, we will be launching new campuses the same weekend in St. Augustine and Camden County.
We believe that God will continue to increase our reach in our community, which makes IMAGINE, our building campaign for our new facility at Baymeadows Road and 9a, increasingly important.
Our new facility will seat 4200 people every service (currently Midtown can seat about 1500 per service, including the Annex.) The new building will allow us to not only reach more people, but to be better Stewards of God’s people.
Thank you so much for your continued participation by giving over and above your tithe to IMAGINE.

January 22nd, 2009 — Construction Update, Financial Update
On Wednesday’s Vision Night, Pastor Stovall shared with us an update on IMAGINE. Here are the highlights:
In 2009, we will have both a Financial Goal and a Participation Goal as a church. Our Financial Goal this year is $4.5 Million. This figure represents the $1 Million left from our 2008 goal and the $3.5 Million needed this year in order to break ground.
Our 2009 Participation Goal is 2000 Households. In order for us to be successful and break ground in 2009, it will require that all of us do our part by participating.
Pastor Stovall also announced two changes for 2009. Because of the current economic climate in our nation, we will be implementing a “Phase” approach for the construction of the new building. This will mean that we will be able to build in phases, which will allow us to stay on target with our timelines and better manage the available finances.
Additionally, 10% of all IMAGINE gifts will now go not only to Africa, but also towards the funding of Celebration Church’s International Church Plants in Greece and Costa Rica. We will also use a portion of this 10% to support the Social Justice Causes that we partner with.
Check back soon as we will have additional information on the allocation of IMAGINE funds received over the past five years, as well as examples of the different lending scenarios that we believe will be available to us and how each may impact our project.
Above all, please pray about your participation in IMAGINE in 2009. If we all participate, we can break ground soon and move into the next chapter that God has for Celebration Church.
January 19th, 2009 — Events
In talking with members of our church, there are many who want to be able to give more to the IMAGINE campaign, but they are unable to because of financial struggles. One of the biggest financial challenges facing individuals and families today is debt.
The Bible is very clear when it comes to debt. Proverbs 22:7 says, “The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.”
Celebration Church wants to equip you to eliminate your debt. So once again we are partnering with Dave Ramsey to offer Financial Peace University (FPU) this spring. FPU will teach you how to get rid of your debt, better manage your finances, communicate with your spouse about money, and experience the joy of giving.
Does FPU work? Well, there are dozens of financial testimonies from families within Celebration Church who have already taken the course. Furthermore, over 650,000 families nationwide have completed FPU and on average, they pay off $5,300 in debt and save $2,700 in just 13 weeks. That’s an $8,000 change in position in just 91 days!
FPU groups launch the week of February 2nd. You can purchase your Financial Peace University Kit before or after our weekend services. If you’d like more information about this group you can contact Michelle Hougland at 333michelle@comcast.net or (904) 571-3913.
In order for the IMAGINE Campaign to be a success, it requires that everyone in our church participate. Let’s start 2009 off right by getting our finances in order so that we can effectively use the money God has given us to make an eternal impact.
January 5th, 2009 — Changed Lives
It’s no secret that raising a child or teenager in today’s world can be a real challenge. One of the biggest obstacles to youth ministry is actually getting young people in the door of the church.
This is why a big emphasis of our new Celebration home at Baymeadows and 9a will be the incredible Student Ministries Environments. Simply put, we are moving into one of the premiere facilities in the Nation!
We will have after school tutoring, games, sports, a skate park, and tons of other resources to attract kids to church. Once here, they will meet Jesus, and we know their lives will never be the same!
A big part of the IMAGINE Campaign has always been about “those who are not yet here.” Our new facility will allow us to reach so many more people, including young people, who have not yet experienced the love of Christ.
Thank you for your support! Let’s all believe God for thousands of future young people to be impacted by the sacrifices that you are making today and in 2009.
December 14th, 2008 — Financial Update
Pastor Stovall recently announced that we took in $554,761.03 in the IMAGINE Miracle Weekend Offering.
We are so excited as this now brings the total amount given to IMAGINE in 2008 to $2,132,348. Additionally, because the church has been a good steward of the tithe, $500,000 was taken out of the operating budget earlier this year and allocated directly towards IMAGINE.
As always, ten percent of the IMAGINE Offering will go to the ministries that we support in Africa.
Please continue to pray for our church and our new facility at Baymeadows and 9A. Thank you so much for your continued faithfulness in supporting the next chapter of Celebration Church. Your giving is having a life changing impact in Northeast Florida and around the World.
November 30th, 2008 — Changed Lives
At its core, The IMAGINE Campaign is about changing lives. Our new building at Baymeadows and 9A will serve as a place where tens of thousands of people in Northeast Florida can experience the love of Christ.
From the beginning, IMAGINE has been about impacting not just our community, but also the world. Ten percent of your IMAGINE giving goes to support the ministries in Africa that we partner with.
There are now over 1400 people attending Celebration Church Zimbabwe on a weekly basis. This is a direct result of your giving and generosity.
Additionally, almost 1700 African children are fed on a daily basis at the Care Points that Celebration Church supports directly through your giving. A total of 10,000 children are fed every day because of the work of Children’s Cup, which our church also supports and partners with.
But we are meeting more than just these children’s physical needs. Beyond the nutritional and medical assistance they receive, these children also learn about God’s love for them and the hope that He provides. The vision of this ministry is to transform these young people into “God First” adults.
So just how far do your dollars go in Africa?
Well, with a contribution to IMAGINE of $150, $15 (ten percent) goes directly to support these children. That $15 provides one child with food, medical treatment, education, and teaching about God’s love for an entire month!
Where else can so little money provide so much? Most of us could easily spend that much money on a single meal for ourselves.
In a land of extreme poverty and the highest incidence of HIV/AIDS in the world, your giving is providing the transformation that only comes through the local church.
I am reminded of Jesus’ words in Mathew 25:40:
“The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’
Earlier in the same chapter Jesus ties helping those in need with eternal rewards in Heaven. The IMAGINE Campaign represents our opportunity to use the resources that God has given us to help change the lives of those who need help, both physically and spiritually.
Thank you for your continued faithfulness in this area of giving.
November 19th, 2008 — Changed Lives
Throughout the New Testament, we are challenged to take our brief life on earth and use it to make the maximum eternal difference. Over the last four years God has used Celebration Church in a very big way. Here are just some of the highlights of what God has done:
• Celebration Church has grown from 2 to 9 campuses.
• We’ve grown from an average of 2,000 people in weekend attendance to an average of over 8,000 in weekend attendance. (With over 14,000 active members and attendees)
• There have been 14,642 decisions for Christ (conservatively speaking)
• We currently have almost 100 church services every week -including all locations, extension gatherings and extension services.
• Over 40,000 different people have experienced a Celebration Church service in the last 4 years.
• Number of Volunteer and Staff service hours: 887,850.
• Additionally, over 45,000 hours of missions and outreach has been done.
• Through our partnership with Children’s Cup, nearly 5 million meals have been served to orphans in Africa in the last 4 years.
• Through our partnership with ARC, we have helped plant 66 churches which has resulted in over 100,000 people in attendance. Those churches have now given over $40 million to missions and outreach.
• Through our partnership with Equip, we have helped train more than 16 million leaders in 113 nations through the Million Leaders Mandate.
• Through our television ministry, there are now over 20 million households around the globe that have access to our services.
These are just some of the highlights of the amazing work God has done through Celebration Church in the last 4 years. In addition to this, each week our church ministers the love of God to people in seasons of life where they need it most. We reach deep into our communities regularly to help people at their place of need in hospitals, nursing homes, challenged schools, orphanages, rehabilitation centers, prisons, children’s homes, halfway houses, special needs facilities, street ministry and homeless facilities, schools for the deaf and blind and help rescue girls from sex trafficking. Each one of the lives we touch represents a life imprinted with the love of Jesus.
Through your continued giving, we can help impact our world for eternity. The IMAGINE campaign represents the opportunity to reach even more people in our community, our nation and around the globe for Jesus Christ.

What an awesome weekend this was for our church!
Pastor Stovall shared with us all of the amazing ways that God has used Celebration Church over the last few years to impact our community, our nation and our world. Then we each had the opportunity to sow into the next season of Impact for our church with a Miracle Offering.
What a blessing and a privilege that God has called us to be a part of a church that is being used to make an eternal impact for the Kingdom of God. One of the biggest steps of spiritual maturity a Christian can take is shifting from viewing the church in the context of what it can do for them, to a view of how they can be a part of what God is doing through the church.
Our church will never be the same after this weekend as we have taken one more step towards the next chapter of Celebration Church. Please let us know how you or your family have been personally impacted by the power of this weekend.
