God’s promises are true! It’s been many years since Pastor Stovall first knew in his heart that the property at Baymeadows Road and SR 9A was our land to take for God! Together, his faith and yours has brought this belief to reality! As we finalized financing, broke ground and started the construction on our new facility, we have truly begun “Taking Ground” for God!  Not only have we moved forward on taking this physical ground, but we’ve also experienced taking spiritual ground like never before! During the last nine months, we’ve seen more than 5,700 salvations, and the greatest participation in groups serving and outreach teams that we’ve ever had.  The majority of the church (nearly 80%) has shown a commitment to spending regular devotional time with God in His Word – there is much to celebrate!  We continue to receive testimony after testimony of true transformational impact in lives of our people, all ages and from all walks of life.  You are a vital part of making all of this possible.  You are actively providing a place for people to encounter the living God!

As you know, we are currently in The Blessed Life series everywhere at Celebration Church globally! We know that IMAGINE is a vital opportunity for our church to bless others through our unified desire to build God’s kingdom so that many more can come into His house! Thank you to all who have tangibly given to expand our reach. Thank you to those who have prayed and believed God for this next season of our church! The fruit of your generosity is evident in the growth we have experienced thus far and in the hope of incredible things that God will do in the near future.

Please join the church in prayer as we prepare for our Bring Your Best Offering on Sunday, November 6th. If you have been at Celebration over the years, you have witnessed the increase God brings as a result of this weekend. This increase is not only financial, but includes increased faith, blessing, unity, love and so many other corporate and personal miracles that come from our obedience and sacrifice to our amazing God. If you are new to Celebration Church, please understand that we have faithfully set aside this special time each year to honor God with our very best financial gifts. We ask that you participate with us as we seek God on his will for our lives and we each bring our best offering to Him on this weekend.

We pray that our church would continue to be trusted with more resources so that we can expand our ability to lead people to experience the God-first life.

We are so excited to announce we have been approved for our loan that will allow us to begin construction on our land at 9A and Baymeadows!

This is a historic moment for Celebration Church. Thank you, to all who have prayed and given financially to make this a reality. Through the years we have always only asked that you seek God for your part in this endeavor, asking Him how He would have you participate. Your obedience and sacrificial giving has been critical in receiving this monumental news. It would not have been possible without you. As you know, our goal has never been to simply build a building, but instead to expand our ability to reach lost and hurting people, for the glory of God. Your giving has enabled us to grow and provide numerous venues for ministry and now with 9A and Baymeadows becoming all the more tangible, we know our influence as a church will be multiplied exponentially.

We have planned a ground breaking ceremony for August 28th. Throughout the summer we will continuously lay out more specific details and give regular updates. Once again, thank you for the part you’ve played, partnering with God to make this possible. We are looking forward to this very special season God has in store for us, and so eternally grateful for the part that each of us gets to play in His story of Celebration Church.

Let us first give praise to God for all he is doing this year! We have diligently prayed and financially planned so that we would be able to close our loan this year! We are very thankful God has aligned the right timing and the right people to make this critical next step possible.

Once we break ground, the construction for Phase I will take approximately 12 to 16 months for completion. This means we could be moving into our new building as early as fall of 2012. We are thankful to God to be in the final stretch of this journey and realize that we need to continually rely on Him for His perfect timing and provision. Thank you, each of you who have been sacrificially giving over and above your tithes to see God’s vision become a reality.

How exciting to be a part of this incredible season in the story of Celebration Church simply by being obedient to what God has prompted us to do corporately and individually. We are all leaders, giving to expand the kingdom, leaving a legacy, impacting the lives of many future generations!

Our growth, our continued devotion to Christ, our impact as a church body has only increased as we have remained committed to leading people to experience a God first life. We are so thankful for all God has done and we know that there are greater things in store for our future.

Our goal for the IMAGINE Campaign has always been creating a place for people who need to receive the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Let’s do our part and make a way for them to experience their first Sunday. Below are just a few stories of the lives impacted and changed because of the sacrifices of others at Celebration Church.

You’ve heard Pastor Stovall talk about the over 800,000 people in the Jacksonville area who are not a part of local church. Those people are your neighbors, your co-workers, your family members  – all in need of a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Our new facility will expand our ability to reach beyond ourselves and show the love of God to the lost and the hurting in Northeast Florida and around the World. We are continually progressing ever closer to our goals as we remain faithful to our Imagine commitments.

We have accomplished incredible things through God, with our Imagine giving. Over the pasts five years we have:

• Purchased the land for our future home at 9A & Baymeadows
• Responded to rapid growth through campus facility expansion
• Purchased the Midtown location
• Established a strategic alignment with the brand new high school next door
• Completed the entire pre-construction phase
• Raised and saved millions of dollars

Now, we’re ready to build. We have been diligently positioning ourselves to be good stewards of what God has blessed us with. We will wait on His perfect timing.

So, What’s Next in 2010?

This year, we are so excited and fully committed to building our new home at 9A/Baymeadows! 2010 is a pivotal year for our church. We need your participation in Imagine.  We ask that you prayerfully consider making a one-year financial commitment, over and above your tithe, so that together we can continue to reach people for Christ. Please pray that God will continue to use each of us to reach the lost, hurting, and next generation within our community.

We are setting a goal that will allow us to minimize our debt and make prudent decisions about the best possible financing options. We want to move in with the least amount of debt possible. This year, our 9A financial goal would position us to obtain a loan at 70% of the value of our cash and assets.

We also recognize the growing needs of our campuses. To meet these needs, we have included some specific campus initiatives in our 2010 Imagine goals.

Missions & Outreach

We will continue to sow 10% of our Imagine contributions into areas of missions, social justice and global impact.
